The Ottawa-Carleton Wildlife Centre was founded by community volunteers who have devoted over 30 years of hard work and risk taking in developing programs to assist wildlife.
However, these volunteers could not have been successful if their concern and vision of what could be done to help wildlife had not been shared and supported by many members of the community. Supporters include companies like Nortel and TD Friends of the Environment; foundations like the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Ottawa Community Foundation; other charitable foundations both in Canada and the United States; many local business and professional firms; and of course, individuals. |
As the Centre embarks on the next era in broadening its outreach to make a difference for wildlife, it will need to rely on individuals in the community. We hope you will join us, not only in providing annual support, but in considering a bequest to the Centre as part of your estate planning. This will ensure that future generations can enjoy the abundant wildlife and greenspace we have come to appreciate, and must not take for granted, in this region.
